[/quote] with eye tv it is possible to use up to 3 decoders (i once asked their support) - if the Eye-TV GUI is really up to it in complex situations is another question. So stack up two 310 and there you are.

Not for cable? [/quote] the 310 is for dvb-s(2) - satelite and a CI slot. Download vnc mac. There is another DVB-S Tuner without a CI slot which is compatible with eyetv.

I played around with a dvb-T (diversity) stick with 2 tuners embedded - worked quite well with EyeTV itself (which is not the plugin for plex) but i gave it away since my new TV has 2 embedded DVB-S2 tuners. I have never tried to call eyeTV from plex/xbmc (via apps) Some developers are working on the plex-plugin - i do not know if multi-tuner support is already in it - but i guess it will enable programmable recording (PVR) functionality in it besides live-TV. [/quote] I can't understand why anyone would want to go to the trouble of having plex do recording.:D eyetv does that rather elegantly. All you have to do is add source inside plex. Point it to your eyetvrecording folder. Or where ever you have eyetv place those files. Your liveeyetvbuffer will show up. Broken down into 6:16 increments. And any recorded eyetv recordings will automatically be there.
Have that source automatically updated on startup and any new recordings will be there. Does that help? And you don't have to wait for a plugin. When you really don't need one. Plex plays eyetv files. I already tried this on my computer and it works just fine.:D.
